RESULTS FROM THE 97TH NATIONAL FFA CONVENTION & EXPO
California FFA members showed up at this year's National FFA Convention! Highlights include: California FFA members represented the Golden State well at this year's National FFA Convention! Highlights include: six national proficiency champions, one CDE national champion, one LDE national champion, four national agriscience champions, one national FFA officer elected, 11 Honorary American Degree recipients, 499 American Degree recipients, and many finalists!

State Officer Update: Hitting the Road for Ag Education and Leadership

The California FFA State Officer Team has embarked on another busy month, diving straight into action after a brief home break. Our month began with a tour of California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo. Summer Travels with the State Officer Team: Conferences, Fairs, and Expos
Starting in mid-June, the state FFA officer team has had a jam-packed schedule, beginning with traveling to the California Agricultural Teachers’ Association (CATA) conference in San Luis Obispo. There, we had the opportunity to introduce ourselves to ag teachers from all over the state. While in the area, we stopped in Santa Maria to escape the Central Valley heat wave and visit our State Treasurer, Melissa Lua-Duarte’s family.
