ONTARIO, Calif. — Members and supporters of the California Future Farmers of America (FFA) returned to the Toyota Arena for the third session of 95th State FFA Leadership Conference in Ontario, with a theme of “Redefine Achievement.” 

Katie Otto, executive director of development of the California FFA Foundation, gave remarks on the impact supporters make on the association and thanked numerous sponsors for their commitment and dedication to the organization. 

“The California FFA Foundation is here to serve your needs - all 100,000 of you,” Otto said.

ONTARIO, Calif. — Future Farmers of America (FFA) members and supporters from across the state of California “redefined their leadership” during the opening session of the 95th State FFA Leadership Conference at the Toyota Arena in Ontario. 

The 2023 State FFA Leadership Conference features six workshop sessions, offering participants more than 60 different workshop topics to choose from. Here are some examples of workshop session being offered at this year's conference.

More than 60 exhibitors representing various sectors of the agriculture industry greeted attendees at the Ontario Convention Center for the 2023 Career Expo. At this year's Career Expo, there’s something for everyone: booths featuring industry partners, in- and out-of-state colleges and universities, chapter booths, agriscience fair, and the FFA Store.

Saying the FFA motto is one thing, but living the FFA motto takes time, commitment, and a heart for your community. Strengthening volunteerism and citizenship have always been an emphasis of the Clovis FFA Chapter. To help connect FFA members to their community and adopt a “living to serve” attitude as they enter the new year, the January chapter meeting featured community projects that quickly engage members. 

We're ringing in the new year with MFE and ALA conferences, the Blue Corduroy Classic, and updates on the 95th Annual California FFA State Leadership Conference! The state officers kicked off the new year with leadership training for the Made For Excellence and Advanced Leadership Academy conferences, facilitated by team leaders and California FFA’s Leadership Development Coordinator, Ms. Jasmine Flores. These conferences are held statewide at the following locations: Sacramento, Monterey, Ontario, Redding, Modesto, and Visalia.

After the hectic month of October, which included travel to the 95th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, we were happy to make our way back to California and focus on our remaining chapter visits.
