Support California FFA in the way that is most meaningful to you!
More than 110,000 California FFA members are building skills, confidence, and experiences they need to succeed in agriculture and beyond. When we come together to invest in these students, we strengthen agricultural education, cultivate the next generation of leaders, and help shape a stronger future for California agriculture.
Our Top Resource
This comprehensive estate planning packet is designed to help you protect yourself and your family as you build your legacy, while potentially reducing taxes and maximizing the impact of your charitable giving.
From estate planning to trusts, there are a multitude of ways to give to the California FFA Foundation!
Give Through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
If you manage your charitable giving through a Donor-Advised Fund, you can easily recommend a grant to support the California FFA Foundation.
Give Through Your IRA: Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are age 70 1/2 or older, you may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to the California FFA Foundation. A QCD may help satisfy part or all of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
Gifts of Stocks and Securities
Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds directly to the California FFA Foundation can be a tax-efficient way to support future California FFA members. Rather than selling appreciated securities, you may be able to transfer them directly to the Foundation.
Estate Gifts
Including the California FFA Foundation in your estate plan allows you to support future generations of FFA members through your will, trust, retirement account, or other estate planning documents.
Endowments
Endowment gifts provide permanent support for the California FFA Foundation. Your contribution is invested, and a portion of the earnings is used each year to provide support while preserving the principal for future generations.
Matching Gifts
Many employers match charitable donations made by employees and retirees. Check with your employer to see whether your gift to the California FFA Foundation may be eligible for a matching gift.
