SALINAS FFA: Giving Back
Posted: 1/1/2019 9:19 PM | Author: Tayler Baldwin

Here at Salinas High FFA we have kicked off our school year with a bang! This year, we worked at the annual Tanimura & Antle Field Day. This day celebrates the hardworking people that work for the company and in the agricultural industry. Salinas is also known as the “Salad Bowl of the World,” so it is very important to us that we give back to the people that make this town and this world go round. We had a group of our most diligent FFA members working hard all day, cleaning up the area, working tents, and managing bounce houses. We got a little sunburned, but we had fun; and our members learned a little bit more about the amazing agricultural industry and what it means to be an FFA member!
