2018 DELEGATE COMMITTEE REPORTS      

Constitutional Amendment 1PASSED
Would allow 7th & 8th graders to become FFA members in approved programs that meet membership requirements. The Discovery FFA degree will be available to these members that meet the requirements.

Constitutional Amendment 2 - PASSED
Would combine collegiate membership with alumni membership.

Constitutional Amendment 3 - PASSED
Would require students to complete an online general parliamentary procedure exam and receive a certificate of success for the state FFA degree.

Constitutional Amendment 4 - FAILED
Would develop a system of maintaining a balance in the number of Agricultural Education programs and FFA chapters in each region every ten years.

Constitutional Amendment 5 - PASSED
Would require state officer nominating committee members to have their state FFA degree.

Constitutional Amendment 6 - FAILED
Would allow members of the state officer nominating committee to vote as a State Delegate.



   
 
 


 
     
State Convention
Each April, 5,000+ FFA members and guests gather to engage in general sessions, educational leadership workshops, a career show and delegate sessions to accomplish the business of the CA FFA Association.
