Overview      
The State STAR Adult award programs recognize High School Administrators, FFA Advisors, Counselors, Teachers, and campus staff who provide outstanding service to the local FFA program. The award is designed to recognize those who go above and beyond to provide opportunities for their students and their chapter to grow and improve.

There are 4 award areas:
  • STAR FFA Advisor
  • STAR Administrator
  • STAR Counselor
  • STAR Supporting Faculty/Staff Member

  • How to Apply      
    Administrator, Counselor & Supporting Faculty/Staff Applications
    Applicants should complete "PART ONE" to determine BRONZE, SILVER, AND GOLD Ranking. Applicants who qualify for a GOLD Ranking are then eligible to apply for consideration as a Sectional Star. To be considered, the applicant must complete the Star Application "PART TWO".

    The rules for this program stipulate that winners must attend the recognition ceremonies at the appropriate Regional and State meeting. The regional and state winners of this recognition program will be recognized at the annual State Leadership Conference.

    Golden Owl (Advisor) Applications
    Applicants should complete Section B Questions 1 & 2 as well Section C to receive recognition . To be considered for a Section, Region or State Star, the applicant must complete the ENTIRE application.

    The rules for this program stipulate that winners must attend (or be represented by another advisor from that chapter) the recognition ceremonies at the appropriate Regional and State meeting. The regional and state winners of this recognition program will be recognized at the annual State Leadership Conference.
