Greenhand Conferences are designed to intrigue and excite the freshman FFA member about the organization. This conference is the “hook-line-and-sinker” to get students to buy into the organization throughout their four years in high school. Each conference will be a day-long event hosted at sites throughout the state during the fall months.

Objectives: Each students will:

• Gain Agriculture Industry Awareness
• Develop a sense of belonging to the FFA
• Identify Opportunities in the FFA
• Become motivated and seek more involvement in the organization
• Leave with a personal set of individual strategic goals for their future GLC
