FFA Roster

Please read the directions below as there are new features and procedures.

Complete your FFA Roster and R-2 Student Demographic Data in the following easy steps:

  1. Import your roster
      1. Import from last years roster (Includes FFA member ID Numbers).
      2. You will be given the option to select which students you wish to import or you may import all students.
      3. Imported data will automatically add 1 to the grade level and year in Ag
      4. You cannot import duplicate FFA Membership numbers.  
      5. NOTE: Importing more than once will add students already deleted from your roster.  Don't import once you have posted your roster. 
      6. Import students from a prior year.  Students that were previously in your chapter can be imported using this search feature.  All their data will be  brought forward. 
      7. Import students from another California chapter.  Students that transferred from another California school can be imported into your roster. 
  2. Have students enter or maintain their own data (includes all Career Data info).   See the directions and tools found at the bottom of this screen
  3. Maintain your roster by:  
    1. You will see a list of currently entries that are not posted.
    2. Start by checking any members for deletion that are not current students, then click on the Delete button to remove them from the list.
    3. Use the Add button to add new students.  PLEASE do not enter commas with the names as they cannot be sent to the National FFA with the comma. A comma will cause the import of the national membership number to fail. Race/Ethnicity Reporting Information.
    4. Use the edit link next to the name to edit students. You may wish to print the roster and then work from that sheet.   
    5. HINT:  Use the TAB key to move across the page.
  4. Post your roster.  This is your confirmation that the roster is correct.  An order form will be printed that you can use to create your PO.  Once "posted" the roster will be filed with the State and National FFA.  Your roster is not filed until you complete this step.  Posted rosters cannot be edited (click here to notify the state office of any changes).  NOTE: Schools still need to submit payment.
  5. Print Order Form(s) (if you forgot to print the order form you may reprint using this option).
  6. Adding additional students: Additional students can be submitted at anytime.  Complete 3 & 4 above.
View and Print  Roster (Landscape page orientation recommended). Roster defaults to current year, other years can be selected.  It can be sorted by clicking on the headings.
Print R2 Student Summary Report Print the student summary for the R-2
Print Prior Year R2 Student Summary Report  Print the student summary for the R-2 for a previous year.
Download Roster Use this option to download the current year's roster in a delimited format.  This format can be read by MS-Word or MS-Excel and used for program management purposes.   (Additional Help)
